Alessandro Corsaro is a Latinx multidisciplinary artist working in glass, sculpture, and installation. Raised in a working-class environment with limited access to formal art spaces, they have defined their path by persistence, self-education, and sustained material inquiry. They were a 2025 fellow at Ox-Bow School of Art and Artists’ Residency and attended a summer residency at the New York Academy of Art in 2023. Corsaro has assisted artist Katherine Gray at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma for a large-scale lighting installation. They also acted as a Teaching Assistant for Emily Endo at a glass-casting and perfumery workshop in Michigan. Their work has been exhibited in galleries, academic institutions, and accredited museums throughout the United States. Corsaro is currently pursuing an MFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in glass at California State University, San Bernardino, where they also serve as an Instructional Assistant in Photography and Chicanx Art History.
